Accommodation Recording Made Simple

Fidelity National Title works closely with a trusted Accommodation Recording service to help you record real estate documents—even if they’re not part of a traditional sale or transaction.

Step 1: Prepare Your Document

Begin by preparing and notarizing the document you want to record (for example, a Grant Deed). While Fidelity National Title does not create or review documents, we’re happy to answer general questions and help make sure your document is ready for submission.

Step 2: Submit Your Recording Package

  • We’ll help you complete the required Accommodation Recording Form.
  • Mail your package to:
    Fidelity National Title
    5000 Van Nuys Blvd, 5th Floor
    Sherman Oaks, CA 91403
  • Your package should include:
    • The notarized document to be recorded
    • The completed Accommodation Recording Form (download below)
    • A check made payable to Fidelity National Title -- leave the amount blank and fill out the MEMO FIELD on your check with “NOT TO EXCEED $500.00”.. This covers:
      • SB2 fee
      • County recording fees
      • Our coordination of the accommodation service

Most recordings cost $200–$250. The Accommodation Recording Service requests a buffer of up to $450 in case additional fees apply.
